New Nails #10

My inspiration for these nails came from this tutorial Pin on Pinterest - it really is amazing what you can do, nail art-wise with just random bits and bobs found around the home; and in this case, the office in work.

I have used hole-punch reinforcer's as a part of my nail art once before and found them really easy to use, they're not too sticky, so are easy to pull off without pulling up the varnish underneath.

What I used:
Models Own 3-in-1 Top Coat / Gloss/Base Coat
Models Own Raspberry Crush
Models Own Pink Punch
Models Own Pastel Pink
Hole punch reinforcer's I pinched from work!
Probably not the greatest combination colour-wise; I just didn't have a 'middle' pink.

Again, whilst I'm mentioning Models Own, if you're a fan, don't forget to 'Like' their Facebook page - prizes from 80,000 'Likes' and a 50% sale at 100,000 'Likes'! Do it!!!

New Nails #2

I've joined Pinterest [add me! :)] - at the moment, I'm just using it to look at all the pretty nail art and get some ideas and inspiration to continue posting about my own nails, as I mentioned in a previous post.

Today's nails are blatantly copied inspired by this pin.

What I used: -

* Models Own Peach Sherbet
* Models Own Nude Beige
* Models Own Lilac Dream
* Models Own Pink Fizz
* Models Own Nail Art Pen White

After applying Base Coat, apply colours and glitter.

Using Nail Art Pen draw spots on one nail

Using Nail Art Pen, Paint Brush & Rhinestones, create a bow

Clean up the edges and apply Top Coat

To keep up to date with my "New Nails" posts, (if you're not interested in reading the rest of my blog) just select the "New Nails" label below, all future posts will be labelled this way.

Nail Art Time

So, these were waiting for me when I got home from work today. Which means only one thing... this weekend is Nail Art Time!

The Striping Tape is off eBay and for £1.46 with free postage, you can't go wrong! They did take a while to arrive (although I would have know this if I'd read the description properly!) and they are a lot smaller and thinner than I imagined (again, not reading the description properly) so I imagine them to be very fiddly to work with, but I'll give it a go!

The nail varnish is the new-ish Models Own Kaleidoscope collection. All the colours are so bright, and so fresh. I'm really looking forward to trying them on!

Another thing I'm looking forward to 'attempting' is a Sponged Gradient. I spotted the link to this tutorial on Pinterest and fell in love! It looks amazing, and so easy! Which in Pippy world means it's nigh on impossible and will end up looking like a splodgy mess!

Hopefully I'll be back at the weekend with an abundance of fabulously amazing pictures of my fantastic nail art..... then again, maybe not.
